June 10 on 10: In Boston

This past weekend I was grateful to be able to attend a family celebration in Boston. Two cousins, one just married and the other soon expecting their first child. Wonderful reasons to party!

I took a red eye flight and arrived here, at the home of Aunt Doe and Uncle Dale. As grand and awe-inspiring as this home is it doesn't come close to matching the warmth and kindness of its owners. Amidst the events of the weekend I had the opportunity to rest, read and explore the surrounding gardens.

My cousin's new family welcomed her in a colorful ceremony.

More garden wanderings.

It was a soul restoring weekend as I hadn't had any time off in quite a while. I am so appreciative of the time spent here surrounded by family and enjoying good food and lots of laughter. I know that these cousins will be blessed in their new adventures.

Please follow our 10 on 10 circle and see Kim Bajorek's post next. She's a talent you won't want to miss.

  2. Kath...these are all such beautiful photos! Wow! What an eye you have. So much color and life. I was particularly drawn to the shot of the hydrangea too. (if that is indeed what it's called) :) You and your images rock!
