January, a new year and a time for allowing myself to begin again.
I'm not much for the traditional resolutions but that doesn't mean that there's no dreaming going on!
This group has been wonderful for prompting me to participate each month and adding a bit of creativity, venturing out a bit more or trying something new. I love to take photos and be in the space of quiet watchfulness.
My something new for this month was attempting some still life photos. I wasn't too happy with them but I'm going to post them all the same, knowing that perfection isn't the goal here. Included also are some plants after the rain and my recent sunset/sky shots.
The view from our driveway after the rain.
During a walk with a friend.
From the driveway again. I am awed by the beauty of the sky. Credit to Kim Bajorek for removing those pesky light posts from this shot! If you follow the link to Connie you'll hop to Kim next, she's amazing!
Please follow our 10 on 10 circle and see this month's post from the ultra creative Connie Hanks I know you'll love her!

ReplyDeleteI always love your beautiful sunset images. The sun sets so beautifully where you live and I love the way you capture all the beautiful colors. I love that you stepped into new territory for you and shot still life. So lovely! I adore the tea cups and want to have tea with you in those! You have a lovely way of finding the beauty around without having to travel miles to do so! Love you!
