Last Saturday I travelled to visit a friend and took the train downtown.
Union Station was built in 1939 and is the largest railroad passenger terminal in the Western U.S. It serves approximately 110,000 passengers each day.
A mural in the city of angels.
There are many areas to wander or wait inside or out.
The recent rain made for some interesting reflections on the glass tables. The jacaranda trees dropping purple flowers for decoration.
I love all the details of the architecture. The windows, the tile and marble polished until it glows.
A place to explore, worthy of serious wanderings.
