Sometimes I get lost in the routine of work, school, and errands. I do have quality family time but it's mostly home time or maybe a short hike. This week the weather finally cooled which always energizes me and I asked my husband if he'd like to visit The Getty Museum. They are open until 9pm on Saturdays and I thought we might get a nice view of the sunset.
It was a beautiful clear day and our timing was perfect. To illustrate how reluctant my family is for photos... I do love them all dearly but I need to resort to candid shots.
From the visitors guide:
As you follow the zigzag path, listen to the changing sound of the stream. The boulders have been placed along the streambed to create this "sound sculpture."
All of the paths meander. You start walking towards a certain area in the distance and the path never goes straight there.
It was a great date and we made plans to venture out again. Please follow the 10 on 10 circle around to Loni Judisch to see her brilliant senior portrait session!
Gorgeous shots! I especially love the wavy trellis and the stunning flower! Sounds like a lovely date and hope you get more! I know my hubby and I definitely need more of those :)
